How much does it cost?

The recommended retail price for Woolworths Cricket Blast is $99 including GST, however some centres may charge a higher fee to cover additional costs to their program. Please contact the program deliverer at your preferred centre for further information.

How do I register?

You can register your child online on your laptop or mobile device by visiting the Club Finder and registering at your nearest Master Blasters centre.

Can I still register mid-way through the season?

You are able to register your child to begin mid-way through a program, but please contact the program deliverer before completing the registration form to ensure there are enough sessions left to provide value for your child’s cricket development.

Where is my nearest centre?

Head to the Club Finder and type in your postcode. You will be directed to a list of your local centres, where you'll find all the relevant contact details and start times.

What can I expect at Master Blasters?

An example of what you can expect at a typical Master Blasters session includes:

  • Fun modified games of cricket called Blast Games
  • Fun warm up games and activities in the Skills Zone where your child can learn cricket-based skills (i.e. catching, throwing, bowling and batting)

Who delivers the Master Blasters sessions?

Each centre has a Master Blasters Coordinator who looks after administration and execution of the program. All parents are encouraged to get involved in Master Blasters and join the Blast Crew. The Blast Crew are all the helpers that allow the session to run smoothly. No experience is necessary, just speak to your Master Blasters Coordinator about being involved.

What program should I select for my child?

As a guide:

  • The Junior Blasters program is for children aged 5 - 7.
  • The Master Blasters program is for children aged 7 - 10.

What should kids wear to Master Blasters Programs?

As part of registration to Master Blasters, your child will receive a player cap in the colour of their Big Bash heroes. For more information on additional items each centre may provide, use the Club Finder to locate your closest Master Blasters program and gain all program details.

Why do I enter my shirt size during registration?

Your child's shirt size is captured during registration in case your centre decides to provide participants with a club shirt. For more information on what shirt to wear to the Master Blasters program, look at the program details section of your chosen Master Blasters centre on the Club Finder or contact your Blast Coordinator.

How long does a Master Blasters session run for?

Master Blasters sessions run for no longer than 90 minutes but vary for each centre.

How long will it take for my child to receive their participant pack?

Master Blasters packs will be sent directly to participants. The preferred delivery address in entered during online registration. Packs will commence distribution in September.

Why are Master Blasters rules and equipment modified?

Master Blasters is a modified cricket program with softer, lighter equipment designed to allow kids to learn in a safe environment and better prepare them for junior hard ball club.

I need to request a refund, how do I do this?

Following registration and payment for Woolworths Cricket Blast, a full refund will be provided if the program is cancelled at no fault of the participant.

Refunds are not provided for change of mind.

I am interested in running a Master Blasters program. Where do I start?

To enquire about getting Master Blasters set up at your club, please contact the Woolworths Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or by phone on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How do I order Master Blasters centre equipment?

Master Blasters equipment will be arranged via your State or Territory Cricket Association. Please speak to your local contact for more information. If you don't know your local contact, please call the Woolworth Cricket Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38) to acquire their details.

I am having issues administering my program on MyCricket

How do I register participants for my program myself?

All Master Blasters participants must register and pay online through playcricket.com.au. If you have participants that are unable to register online, please contact the Woolworths Cricket Blast Helpdesk by emailing cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38). 

There are no shirts in Master Blasters participant packs. What should participants wear?

Clubs are encouraged to provide participants with a club shirt as part of their registration.If your centre would prefer that Master Blasters purchase a Woolworths Cricket Blast shirt, please direct them to the online shop. The cost of a shirt is $24.95 which includes postage to the participant's preferred address. Please factor this into the price that you set for your program. Why can't I order participant packs?

All participant packs are sent directly to participants nominated address following their individual registration. If you have any queries, please contact the Woolworths Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How do I provide my clubs bank account details to MyCricket?

We ask that all Master Blasters Coordinators or Administrators discuss bank details with their club’s treasurer in case they have already registered bank details on MyCricket. If you require assistance, please contact the Woolworths Cricket Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How do I organise school visits to promote my centre?

School visits are organised through the local contact at your State or Territory Cricket Association. To acquire your local contact, please call the Woolworths Cricket Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

Where do I get my promotional flyers and posters from for this season?

All promotional material can be downloaded from club marketing section of the MyCricket Community website. There are a number of options that will allow you to align your centre with your local Big Bash team.
